Buran for respiratory tract dysfunction in horses

Buran is a complementary feed suitable for adult horses and foals, with Spirulina, fermented pineapple and ivy.

Property

- Antioxidants, provided by Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Spirulina

Vitamin C and Vitamin E: these are very strong antioxidants and therefore have natural scavenger activities against free radicals. They improve exercise tolerance and have proven effectiveness in horses affected by RAO (Reccurent Airway Obstruction). They also improve the state of bronchial inflammation. Spirulina: is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory microalgae. Inhibits the activity of lipoxygenases and cyclooxygenases; inhibits the production of free radicals; improves antioxidant defenses in case of COPD.

- Respiratory functions, provided by licorice, thyme, garlic and ivy

Licorice: has expectorant, antitussive and anti-inflammatory properties. Reduces the production of bronchial mucus. Thyme: it is a mucolytic and bronchial antispasmodic. It has antibacterial function. Garlic: reduces tracheal exudation. Ivy: it is an expectorant, antispasmodic and antitussive.

- Anti-inflammatory activity, thanks to hydrolysed bromelain, from fermentation of saccharomyces cervisae

Bromelain is able to reduce mucus formation, exert immunostimulatory action, reduce inflammatory cytokines and interleukins in immune cells and protect against bacterial infections.
