VITAMIN “A” and VITAMIN “D”

They are the natural forms of vitamins, different and much more effective than the artificial forms that are used in synthetic mixtures. They are not stable if extracted from their oil, but in this they are very digestible and used to the maximum by the organism. Their percentage is the balanced one required for natural and optimal use without problems of any kind.
VITAMIN "A"
Promotes body and muscle growth, health and healthy appearance of skin, hair and hooves. It defends the integrity of the mucous membranes and ensures greater resistance to bacterial and viral infections. The most common symptoms of "A" deficiency are: rickets, respiratory diseases, joint problems and rheumatic diseases, teary eyes, minor night vision, general weakness, lower resistance to infections, variable appetite and nail problems with flaws, weakening, breaking and consequent possible infections of the feet.
VITAMIN "D"
It allows the body to use calcium and phosphorus to form bones. The most common symptoms of "D3" deficiency are bone weakness, brittle bones, bone diseases and spontaneous ruptures, especially in rapidly grown animals.

UNSATURATED, POLYUNSATURATED OILS AND OMEGA 3

They are the major part of the components of a good cod liver oil. They are very liquid and precious oils for all animals. Omega 3 are special polyunsaturated oils that the body needs to produce efforts and grow. Omega 3 are mainly found in the finest fish oils and in particular in cod liver oil. The latter has the following characteristics: it is highly energetic and highly digestible (for this it is the natural vehicle of Vitamins), gives greater resistance to physical or reproductive fatigue, increases the metabolism and therefore promotes growth and keeps the iodine essential for health body.

HOW AND WHEN TO USE COD LIVER OIL

It is necessary immediately to debunk the belief that the oil should be given only in winter or even worse that it only serves to fatten the animal. In general the following uses can be emphasized:
A) To pregnant broodmares for their own needs, both vitaminic and energetic of their state, as well as to get regular pregnancies, and well-developed unborn children who are able to undertake growth with advantage.

B) In the regular growth of the working animal, when the demand for energy is high and the necessity of having a healthy skeleton and adequate to support the weight of the adult (be it fattening or working) is absolutely essential.

C) In case of poor nutrition of Vitamins with dry food (hay or flour), of little exposure to the sun, of weakness of the animals with symptoms of vitamin deficiency.

D) As an energetic restorative for working animals such as horses or dogs during periods of greater effort to maintain physical fitness and a dazzling appearance.

E) Both by mouth and with local applications, such as softening and regenerating skin and hair especially in cases of surgical shaving, wounds, abrasions or sores. As a coadjutant in the treatment of broken, flaked or brittle hooves both as food and for local application (for this purpose a high quality specific grease called "Super Gel ADF" based on Cod Liver Oil is available).
