Properties of its constituents: Adenosine monophosphate is a phosphorated organic compound that consists of a simple sugar, ribose, a nitrogenous base, adenine, and a phosphate ion. Thanks to the latter, adenosine monophosphate plays an energy-boosting role in metabolism.  Nucleotides and, consequently, adenosine monophosphate, can inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory substances in the body and have cardioprotective effects (13, 97).


When to use Adenosin 5AMP: Adenosin 5AMP has a quick energizing effect. The syringe can provide energy very quickly: within an hour before the beginning of a competition. The main disciplines needing this kind of energy boost are show jumping, dressage and eventing, for they require ready-to-use energy.


Use and dosage:
Show jumping, eventing and dressage horses: It is recommended to administer a whole syringe of Adenosin 5AMP one hour before the beginning of a competition. Adenosin 5AMP can be administered immediately after the competition, in order to replenish the horse's energy reserves. Adenosin 5AMP’s results are so quick that the product can be administered within 10-15 minutes before a competition. To obtain an energy-booster effect in show jumping competitions, Adenosin 5AMP can even be administered between the first round and the jump off.

This product does not cause any adverse reaction. Nevertheless, since every organism has its own peculiarities, dietary supplements, feeds and complementary feeds should always be introduced in a horse’s diet gradually, in order to evaluate the product’s effects on the horse.
