Officinalis DER Spray is a lenitive spray based on Officinalis Lavender Water (Lavandula Angustifolia L.), essential oil of Geranium (Pelargonium Graveolens) and Neem Oil (Azadirachta Melia L.).

Features: It was noted that all plants rich in essential oils have the ability to repel insects; lavender and geranium oil in particular give off an essence composed of substances very pleasant to humans but highly repellent to insects. Neem oil has been known for centuries as a natural insecticide. It's a great insect repellent because they does not stand the smell. Studies have shown that the azadirachtin, a tetranortriterpene present in the seeds, acts on the sensory organs of insects taking away their appetite stimulation and contact cause gastrointestinal disturbances. This research showed, moreover, that the limonoids substances contained in oil of Neem act on the hormonal system of insects causing stunting and high mortality, particularly against the larvae. Neem oil to the plant complex are also attributed to anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, present in high concentration of Neem oil have healing action on epithelial tissues since they seem able to regenerate the cell membranes. 

Use and doses: shake well before use. Spray from a distance of 30 cm from the horse especially in the parts most prone to insect bites (mane, central line, legs and back), preferably at offpeak hours of Culicoides. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
